BPO Eco Circle
NTT DATA China has been engaged in environmental activities since 2019 and has about 80 participants.
Purpose and Background of Activities
Wuxi is a city blessed with a natural environment, especially beautiful lakes.
Citizens' awareness of the environment is improving, and with the addition of environmental policies from the government, the environment in the common area is getting better, but there is still room for improvement. We decided to start from the small things we could do around us and set up ECOCIRCLE at the * BPO Center.
Details of measures
- Visits to the "Wuxi Eco Base" and learning about eco-related knowledge such as waste classification and resource recycling
- Taking advantage of the lunch break to pick up trash in the area near the company
- Activities to promote the use of handkerchiefs instead of tissue paper
- Installation and recovery of lithium-ion battery recovery boxes
- Using discarded fruits and their skins to make enzyme detergents and distribute them to members
We did not expand the scale in 2020 due to the Corona Group, but we would like to continue expanding the scale of the circle and actively engage in activities that take into consideration the reduction and recycling of waste and global warming countermeasures by each of us.
*BPO (business process outsourcing) Center is a one-stop operation center that handles everything from redesigning business processes to managing business operations.
