NTT DATA has been participating in the initiative “Operazione Risorgimento Digitale”, led by TIM, the leading telecommunication company in Italy, which promotes the adoption of new technologies among an increasing number of citizens. The initiative is aligned with” the Manifesto for the Digital Republic” launched by the Italian governement.

The goal is to reach 1 million people by the end of 2020, with classes and workshops aimed at the development of core digital skills.

NTT DATA is committed to spreading IT knowledge, promoting digital inclusion and tearing down technological barriers with various initiatives, and coordinates a series of free online lessons by its experts or professionals in the digital sector, targeting mainly small and medium enterprises.

In the early stage of the online lessons, the topic was “Culture and tourism in the digital era” and the lesson had the goal to teach how to evaluate the richness of the Italian artistic, cultural and traditional heritage through digital media.

In its master-class lessons as a next stage, the topics are to be e-commerce, Digital Transformation, the Digital Exchange of Information, and Big Data.
