This catalyst project, led and implemented by NTT DATA, showcases how enabling digital mobility services can unlock a $3.5 trillion revenue stream for the mobility industry by 2040 and $3.6 billion for the telecom industry by 2027. Standardized API exposure is a crucial strategy for communication service providers and differentiates success in ecosystem enablement. Three key challenges are being addressed: gaining regulatory and consumer confidence for autonomous vehicles, capturing network service monetization opportunities and overcoming API exposure challenges without clear demarcation between different standards development organizations' scopes.
